I bought this plant today and nobody in the store could tell me what it was. It had no tag or anything on it to identify it. I was hoping someone could tell me what it is and what type of light it needs etc. Thanks for any help!! I posted some pictures...hope they help!

It looks like a ponytail palm, but it also looks like they covered up the swollen base. if it doesn't have a swollen base under the soil, they it might just be a draceana draco.

I found no swollen base, but upon further inspection I saw that the leaves a not flat but thick and very slender and each one has a spine tip on the end.

Not Dracaena draco, the leaves are too long and slender.

Not Nolina recurvata either. Could even be something new on the market and not familiar to many gardeners, most wild plants are tropical species so there are many thousands of potential new introductions.
