Identification: Can someone please tell me what this white stuff is?

    I thought maybe a fungus or lichen, but am not sure. It was found growing on a fallen tree in the woods.

    And is the flat greenish stuff lichen?

    Oyster mushrooms do u think?

    The other picture, was moss, if i am thinking of the right one.

    I was refering to the greenish-gray flat growth that is tight to the log between the mushrooms (which look somewhat like oyster mushrooms). I think that is a lichen.

    The green in your other post in the botany forum is definately moss.
