Identification: Can someone identify these fungi?

    Fort Wayne Indiana
    They were found on the ground in my back yard in Fort Wayne Indiana.
    The soil content in that area is mostly clay.
    It looks like a little pod at the bottom, then a stem (the full sized one is white and feels like Styrofoam) and then there is a cap that has a green slimy consistency.

    Also, is this anything I ought to worry about?

    The funny part about that was that as I was looking at the picture again, I was thinking how phallic it looked. Wow.
