Can someone help me identify this seedling please

    I grew it from a seed I took from a pod. I didn't look at the parent plant too long being I was on vacation and all ( Which I regret not doing ).

    The pod looked like a fat soy bean pod but was brown and dry ( That's all the clue I have for now )

    I took it from San Diego around the "Old Town" area.

    Where was the pod collected, and was it from a herb, a shrub, or a tree?

    It looked like a medium-size shrub


    Someone said it looks like a Mimosa

    Compare with Mesquite sp. or Parkinsonia aculeata.

    The leaves look a little bit different
