Zamioculcas zamiifolia, commonly called a ZZ Plant. There is a lot of stuff about it on the internet. I just read something on these forums, though, that said not to believe anything that says it likes to be pot-bound. If that pot does not have a drainage hole, I would suggest that you repot it anyway, and once it fills up the pot, it should be potted up into something larger and deeper.
