sjardine, please could you post some pics of the whole plant/leaves. It is difficult to gauge the size from your pic.
On first blush, I'd guess it's a double amaryllis of some sort (Hippeastrum spp). The pale purple blooms of the spray next to it are Heliotropium arborescens, one of the variegated cultivars.
That would be my guess too. And the plant to the left of it is sea lavender, Limonium spp., probably L. tataricum.
Okay - here is the best I could do - time has passed since the first picture was taken and the bloom is starting to wither as are the leaves...
