Hi, I have two of these plants/bushes in my front yard. One is about 3ft tall, the other about 4ft tall. The leaves are green with a red tint. Seems like the newer leaves are coming in red, then turning green?? The leaves are smooth on the edges. The bush is growing quite wild looking. I've tried to trim it but it just looks crazy. We just moved into the house and the original owners have beautiful landscape surrounding the house, except for these two bushes. I am thinking of getting rid of them, but maybe they are some flowering beauty??
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

    Thank you saltcedar.
I had no idea it was a problem plant.
Here it is slow and extremely well behaved.
