Can someone help ID this please

    I took these pictures of a "fly trap" like plant at a remote lake in the mountains on Vancouver Island. I have asked many long time locals and outdoor enthusiasts and none have ever seen or heard of it.

    Check out Sundew - Drosera spp. It is a carnivore, just like VFTs, but from a much larger genus.

    Gorgeous pics, by the way.

    Yup, looks like Drosera rotundifolia.

    Looks like it to me too! Round-Leaf Sundew Drosera rotundifolia. Very nice pictures too!
