I want to plant my seeds as soon as I can because last year was a little late. I'm in a zone 5 area... my Allysum seeds are patiently waiting... Anyone planting yet? Happy almost Spring Everyone!
I have planted carrots, peas, potatoes, lettuce and some cruciferous greens outside already (germinated lettuce indoors.) I have several pots of flowers that I have just seeded this past week. I would say go for it. I usually start several batches. If the first pots are too early, I toss them, but if spring is early I am ready to plant.
