I bought 2 paulownia trees, and I received one already, I would like to plant it right by the road, but there are power lines above, but not directly above, the are kind of closer to the house, so if the tree grew that tall, it would'nt hit them, but would kind of brush against them, but can I cut that side back? please let me know, Thanks.

Shoots up tall quickly, pruning away from wires would be a pain. Casts deep shade. Drops messy parts, including hard-walled fruits. Not a tree for intimate areas. Also considered a weed in some regions. Check your state noxious weed list before planting.
