Can I move moss?

    This moss grows on the gravel in front of our hous FULL SOUTH & SUN
    can I move it and do the Yoghour trick to make it grow on our rockery same exposure ?

    I admire anyone who admires moss. You should be able to move it successfully, I think. Keep it moist & all the obvious stuff. I once read a bit of advice in a gardening magazine to mix buttermilk, seaweed extract and water in a blender, and sprinkle or spray that onto the spot where you want the moss to grow. I do this when the spirit moves me and the blender is working. But moss is pretty hardy stuff, really.

    Here are some LOVELY macros I took of the moss on my gravel.. I LOVE moss and always try to macro photo it . They look like an mini army fighting for the survival of nature against all odds.
    I saw a few nice battling ones in Vancouver walking along Lynn Valley creek on forgotten concrete pipes . I wish I could take it home SO beautiful. Shame on the city forgetting things like this in middle of the nature for X reasons.
