I wonder if someone has attemted to grow a lemon tree in BC. I realize they don't tolerate freezing all that well, but I wonder if some varieties can adapt to tolerate low freezing temperatures. Payi
There have been posts about this on the forums, at least one member has a tree in the ground: http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=16982&page=4&highlight=meyer+lemon You certainly could not plant one outside in Edmonton, but apparently Meyer lemon and other citrus can do well indoors in pots if properly cared for.
