Have a few plants that I need help identifying ^_^ a) little guy I bought a few months ago from Art Knapps, very small, one of the little 1.29$ babies. b) vigorous grower c) little cutting I nabbed from a large dangling plant at my Grandpas Home :p d + e) Large plant my mother has had for years. f + g) bought cheap from Superstore as two vines with few dead black leaves, with a little TLC its is now great plant that doesn't require a lot of attention, although I do get a few malformed leaves now and then. Any help in finding out what these plants are would be greatly appreciated.Partially to satisfy my curiosity, and also so I can better care for them :)
#3/c is Epipremnium aureum, aka Pothos. And quite a nice example of the variegated cultivar, if I may say so myself.... #4-5/d-e is Schefflera actinophylla #7/f is also Epipremnium aureum, but the solid cultivar this time.
Sedum cv. Peperomia Epipremnum aureum, probably 'Marble Queen' Schefflera actinophylla Probably another Peperomia owing to the opposite & alternate arrangement of leaves and branches.
Huh. You're quite right, Salty - I hadn't noticed the alternate branching on that last one. Maybe I need my eyes checked....
Thank you!! I thought I would add that I went and looked at plant a,and noticed it had what looked like little silvery smudges on some leaves.I tried rubbing it to see if it would come off,and when it didn't I pulled on of the leaves off and inspected it.I discovered that it was water, under a thin transparent skin.Is that normal?
Could be oedema. http://www.oakleafgardening.com/problems/oedema/ Or it might just be the succulent nature of the leaf you're rubbing. Remember it's normal for some succulents to have a glaucous "bloom"
Here is as good of a shot as I can get of it,if thats any help. The spot isn't raised,it's totally smooth.
