This plant appeared in one of my beds last year and there are more this season. Here is a picture of its many leaves with a couple of fern leaves popping through. The long stalks have many flowers that are very small and pink and only last a day. One photo shows all the leaves and the other photo shows the very small pink flower. Thanks.
According to http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/PlantFinderDetails.aspx?kempercode=f900 Tellima grandiflora spreads by the underground rhizomatous root system, so controlling the seeds will not be enough to contain it.
Thanks for alerting me to that. At the moment it is in a small bed contained by pavement so at least I only have a small area to work on.
