In The Garden: Can anyone tell me what this plant is?

    This plant appeared in one of my beds last year and there are more this season. Here is a picture of its many leaves with a couple of fern leaves popping through. The long stalks have many flowers that are very small and pink and only last a day. One photo shows all the leaves and the other photo shows the very small pink flower. Thanks.

    Thank you. Looking it up, it sounds like i should cut off the seed stocks to contain.

    Thanks for alerting me to that. At the moment it is in a small bed contained by pavement so at least I only have a small area to work on.

    Forms rosettes, have never seen any creeping underground.
