Can anyone identify this tree.

    I believe my tree is a native....the reason being is that it seems to grow very easily and doesn't like too much water, which here in Provence is good because we have very long hot summers.
    I am posting some photos of the mauve berries which should be easily identifiable but I have asked hundreds of people and I STILL haven't been able to identify it.
    The leaves go BRIGHT red and pink in the Autumn and produces 3 lobed mauve berries.
    It is a medium size tree, if it gets too much water the pale green leaves go a spotty yellow and brown.
    This is the first time I have been on this site and I can't find where to post a 'photo?
