Hi, I got this plant from our local horticultural society plant sale, and it didn't have an I.D. tag. If anyone can help identify it, that would be great! It stands about 12 to 14 inches tall. I'm in southwestern Ontario, and it is blooming right now (end of June.)

    Thanks!

It's a bellflower (Campanula) variant with an abnormally deeply divided bell.

Thanks Rob, you are right. I did a little google searching and discovered that it is Pink Octopus Campanula. Thanks for your help!

Reportedly very invasive, which makes perfect sense as it is a cultivar of Campanula punctata.

I didn't know about it being invasive! Maybe I should move it to a container and not leave it in the flower bed. I've had enough with plants like chocolate mint (a "gift" from a friend) and obedient plant, which has been very disobedient for me!

Perhaps it depends on location, but it has not been invasive for me. I have had this cultivar in dappled shade in my garden in northern Ohio (zone 6a) for 5 years now. The clump is about 18-24" across, and have not observed stray seedlings away from the clump. It makes a nice accent in a partially shaded garden.
