My mother grew this plant from seed that she got her hands on. We would like to know the name of this plant. This is the only photo I have of it, I know it is a bit small to see detail.

Thank you! Do you happen to know what the common name may be? Is it Ox eye?

Oxeye daisy is usually Leucanthemum vulgare, with white rays ("petals").

Is Oxeye and Shasta Daisy one of the same? What I should have written about the yellow flowers is Oxeye Sunflower. I've found this name under Heliopsis searches. Do you think that is what the common name could be for the flowers in the photo?
