Can anyone ID this plant?

I found this plant at a nursery,mostly all that was left of it was a orange seed pod,like a tomato or pepper.. I planted it and the plant is doing good,the nursery has no Idea,it's a really thorny plant,on stem,stalk and leaves. Thank you
