I came across this plant in my backyard pine forest. The plant has 3 leafs, and rising above the plant at the top of a stem is a red pod - looks like a mini pepper or chili. Any ideas what this might be ? See photos.

Believe Trillium undulatum, Painted trillium. May be best not to have your email address listed, attracts junk mail.

the mods or the admin may be able to change your username. if the software doesn't allow for that (some of them don't), then start a new acccount and have them delete this one.
