This plant started as a clipping from one of my grandmother's plants several years ago. I remember that the two she had were somewhat large. I've never been able to find out what kind of plant it is, but I would love to know!

The leaves are thin and pale green, and they have a darker green running down the middle. The stems are "lightning-shaped". Also, I'm not sure if this helps, but the sap (if that's the appropriate term) is milky in appearance.

Yep!!! PEDILANTHUS tithymaloisdes, Variegatus. One common name is zig zag plant. I swiped mine years ago from a planter in a hotel in Cabo San Lucas. Keep it out the the bathroom or kitchen moisture it developes mildew real easy. Mines full of it. You're in a warmer clim. than I am so you can probably put it out side. I have it as a house plant. Anyone have any clues as to how to get rid of the mildew? Sure would appreciate some ideas. barb

Thank you so much for the quick responses!! Apparently it wouldn't hurt to let my plant get more sun, so I will probably move it outside for a while and see how it does.

    Thanks again!
