Early last Summer I was at an acquaintance's house and admired a plant in the garden. He said he would do a cutting of it for me in the Spring. Well here we are and I had forgotten about it but he didn't. He sent the plant through a mutual friend and said I would know what to do. The problem is, I can't remember the name of it so don't know the best place to plant it or how to care for it. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Thank you! That's it. The friend who passed delivered it said Angelwing but I couldn't find anything online or in my books that looked like this plant. When I looked up Brugmansia and saw that it is also known as Angel's trumpet, I remembered it being called that last Summer. Thanks again.

    yup, definitely brugmansia!

you can put it outside for summer - just remember to take it inside in fall. they don't do well under 50 degrees, so you'll need to bring it back inside once the temps start dipping in late september.
