It is a spindly plant about 5ft high. Has few oval, smooth edged lightish green leaves about 25mm x 12mm. Has ring clusters of 6 white flowers/blossom 10mm long x 3mm dia. as closed bells, which are blooming now (April). Blossom is about 1.5" spacing over upper end of branches. I'd post a pix except its pouring with rain and 10 o'clock. Location northern border of SC, Zone 7. Thanks.

Do you have pictures? Especially of the blooms would be helpful.

There are many very knowledgeable people on this forum, I'm sure with the assistance of a picture, you'll have an answer within a short period of time.

Absolutely. I found this little plant when we were clearing a patch of the front yard near the road. I've been here 20 years and never noticed it. The blossom is lovely. I will now watch it to see if it puts on fruit.
