Within the week a large Camphor tree was cut down and mulched. Everything I've researched indicates everything about the species is toxic to fauna, water, ranches. I have the opportunity to utilize the mulch in my bedding areas but unsure whether or not it will kill the trees and flowers. Want to keep my garden alive in Jacksonville, Florida. P.S. understand it keeps insects at bay?

Should be OK if you compost it down for a few months before use.

Thank you for your post, starting to worry. Love the smell of it.
