I just bought a campanula makashvili at the Shop in the Garden but can find absolutely ni information on it, neither via Google nor searching all the books on perennials in the shop. Makashvili is in Georgia (former USSR) but that's as far as I got. Could the FOGS shed some light on what's required to grow this plant?
Hello Karen, This is one of those instances where a slight misspelling causes a big problem with the search engines. The epithet is actually spelled makaschvilii. I didn't find extensive growing information with Google, but I did find that it prefers sunny to light shade in well-drained soil. Google search for Campanula makaschvilii
