One of my neighbour told me that Calendula attracts bugs, she means bad ones. I googled and found some of related to my topic facts that Calendula Protects Soil Attracts Beneficial Insects Repels Pests https://www.tenthacrefarm.com/7-reasons-to-grow-calendula/ We have Liriodendrons(tulips trees) around building and second summer big-big trouble with aphids on these trees.
