    Hi everyone,

I have a little cactus that I can't properly ID. I haven't had it long so it hasn't bloomed for me (for all I know it may not bloom indoors =/). I have a feeling that it might be an Echinocactus grusonii aka Barrel cactus but since Barrel cacti are slow growing and this one already has two offsets I'm not sure.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

It's not an Echinocactus grusonii, because it has other habit, and it has razor sharp, very strong thorns... I think this one has soft thorns!!! :) It is a Parodia/syn. Notocactus sp. Hard to tell a species, without flowers... but it could be a Notocactus warasii...

This is an E. grusonii kid... looks more dangerous than your nice cacti! :)

Thank you Lila :). Wow that E. grusonii looks very sharp! You're right, my cactus' thorns are really soft :). Thank you very much for the help, I was really lost!
