I make my own wine from California Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. I put the grape seeds in the composter and now have healthy little vines growing in my garden.
If I take care of these vines, what kind of grapes will they produce? Will they be Cabernet Sauvignon, or will they be wild in the way apples grown from seed are not like the parent.
I could find a warm enough site to ensure the vines survival, but would I be better off ordering an a zone-appropriate vine and not try to cultivate these little vines?
