I hoped to see the flowers, but it did not make it this summer. There are several smaller seedlings around this large one. They appeared on the bed of sleeping narcisses and tulips. Could you please suggest what is it?
    Thanks.

Quite possible: there are two more local Geums with similar leaves. Should wait till next summer to see the flowers.
    Thanks, saltcedar!
