In The Garden: But I don't know what they are

    I planted the two red-boxed perennials 10 years ago, but never knew what they were. Any ideas?

    Yikes! That was quick. Thank you so much, stone. They've been two of my favorites since they went in the ground. I'll post another version- larger image. maybe the spirea (?) will be easier to identify. I'm just starting to explore UBC; looks like a lot of great stuff.

    When you enlarge it becomes clear the spirea is actually a yarrow.
