Does anyone know what this might be. I think it gets blue or purple flowers.

Really? So, I guess it shouldn't grow next to the house? It it be off somewhere growing on an arbour? Can the roots do damage to the house foundation?

Can prune and train to fit space, if interested. Thin in winter, head back in summer. Search internet and look at pruning books for details. Watch out for and prune off horizontal shoots growing across ground and invading adjacent space.

    Not likely to crack foundation.
