I have what I am assuming are 2 different varieties(?) of this plant, any ideas what the proper names are? One has small "round' leaves, the other has longer much more pointed leaves. The one with the longer leaves grows well, the one with the round leaves barely grows at all. Any ideas why, both are growing in exactly the same conditions so I am confused :(

    thanks

can you post pics of both plants??? it's possible that they are completely different things.

the same 'common name' can be used for more than one plant and you might have two things that are actually in different families, yet have similar growth patterns.

From your description, it does sound like you have two different plants there. Pictures would help id them:)

I have 2 kinds as well - 'burro's tail' and 'burrito' (baby burro's tail).

Yes, a picture would be most helpful...
