Hi. For many years I have tried to get Pears and Plums. Each year (and presently) I have a lovely display of flowering buds on both the apple trees, the one plum tree and the one Pear Tree. I will watch it each week as it is at my holiday caravan which I stay at weekends. after I get both Pear and Plum trees with an abundance of buds and sometimes getting as far as the small shaped pear half the size of your little finger I will be disappointed the next week when everything has turned black and the buds are replaced with a burnt out socket. It looks as if someone had burnt it with a match. The leaves also take on a burnt look. If anyone can advise I would appreciate it. At present I have all trees with aof blossoms.
