I have such a delightful selection of weeds in my lawn that I that I should share a photo of them. I am only familiar with the dandelion in photo 1, the clover (which I'm not sure should be classified as a weed), and I think the single blade in photo 2 is quackgrass because it feels rough if you move your finger down the blade. I don't know if the 3 on the right in photo 2 are immature versions of any of the others.

The paper towel is about 12" X 8".

The upper-right hand corner of photo 1 looks awfully like Equisetum (Horsetail).

In the first photo. on the left are buttercup, sourweed... the second leaf on the second photo is also buttercup, below that are 2 wild lettuces.
I like your "lawn", very nice.

We'd all do a better job of id if you included pics of the entire plants.

There is an organic farm in Langley that supplies salad greens to restaurants. They started with lettuce & conventional salad plants, but discovered that several of the "weeds" that infested their beds, & cost them money to remove, were actually choice salad items in other cultures. Now they have an eclectic mix & a high-end customer base.

...I have tried their mix. It's tangy & good. Amuses me no end.

Fairly certain that the top right in the first pic isn't horsetail. I think it's yarrow.
