budding grafting citrus

    is it possible to graft or bud a citrus plant to bear fruits earlier? tnxs

    If the point is to get a seedling to bear fruit sooner than it would otherwise, the answer is yes, if it is grafted or budded with mature wood. Mature wood means that the material to be used for grafting comes from a tree that is already bearing fruit. It is even possible that the bud will bear fruit the year that it is grafted.
