Seen on the number 12 driving just past the the Cascades towards the eastern part of WA, transitioning into shrub steppe.

Photos of flowers, habit and habitat I guess.

I have a guess but looking for clarification?

    Thanks.

While eriogonums can be difficult to identify, I don't think there are similar ones to Eriogonum umbellatum, the sulphur-flowered buckwheat (that said, there is MUCH variation within the species, and a number of varieties are recognized).
