The cutting I nursed on the windowsill all winter turns out not to be my beloved Charles Grimaldi, but a soft pink variety, probably "Rosamond".

If anyone out there has a cutting of Charles Grimaldi, I would very much like to trade!

    Many thanks,
    Janet

    Hi WesternWilson,
I only have the peach coloured one and I don't know the name of it. I kept it outside all summer (it is about 3 ft tall. ) I found that indoors last year it got aphids that I could not get rid of. Outside it wasn't a problem. This year I may put it in a cool dark room for the winter, barely water it until almost summer. Did you have any problems with pests?

No pests! But then with our garage so full of spiders, the pests never had a chance! Seriously, it is too cold in our garage for pests. It doesn't freeze in there but we do not heat it either.
