hey, I transplanted my cedar this spring. Since then it seems to be struggling. Now the new growth is turning brown. No visible signs of mites or borers. Any suggestions? Thanks

Probably root damage when it was dug. Give it plenty of water, and shade it from hot sun. Also perhaps frost damage, if you had that bad late frost in mid April that many others in the eastern US had.

    Spellcheck: deodara

If this is one of the named selections from Vancouver Island with pale whitish foliage (and names like 'Snow Sprite') these must be protected from hot sun at all times of the year or the palest parts will burn and drop off.
