We have quite a few ti plants (Cordyline terminalis var. 'Purple Prince') that seem to be suffering from the same set of problems. They are growing in a tropical greenhouse. Leaves that are already emerged get necrosis around the leaf edge. New leaves do not even unfold, but curl up in a firm noodle. The plants have been here for a while and exposed to natural light over the winter, so I do not think leaf burn or light shock is the problem. It has been regularly misted and also fertilized. I have read here at the forum that damage can happen due to flouride or chlorine in the water, but there is not too much I can do about that. What has happened to them and how can I save them? Thank you for all help.
I'm sorry i don't have anything to offer in the way of help but i wanted to say that's a great looking plant (even more so if it wasn't sick). Best of luck and i hope someone is able to help you out. -Luke
