Identification: Brown mushrooms on a fallen log

I am trying to ID some of the mushrooms from Mayne Island.

There were about a hundred of these mushrooms growing on a fallen log.

Cap: about 1 – 1 ½ inches I diameter, shinny, brown, dimple in the centre

Gills: same colour as the caps

Stalk: mostly darker colour than the caps


Are these Hygrophoroid sp. (Waxy Cups)?
