Nettle? - If yes, can I make Tea from it? I found many of these growing in the shade near water and dead wood. The long leaves grow from the bottom and center, almost like a dandelion. VERY THORNY! I'm hoping it's a nettle that I can make tea from.
Doesn't sound right. Nettles grow on a single stalk with generally opposite leaves. Google Stinging Nettle and compare.
Re: Nettle? - If yes, can I make Tea from it? Sorry I cannot tell you what it is. It is definitely not a stinging nettle.. Urtica dioica. https://www.google.co.uk/search?sug...g&biw=1280&bih=647&sei=Bwm4T4nxD5G48gOA16G6Cg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stinging_nettle
Re: Nettle? - If yes, can I make Tea from it? maybe a thistle (Cirsium sp.)? http://montana.plant-life.org/species/cirsium_vulga.htm Not something I would want to eat!
