I think it's Tillandsia. I know hardly anything about these, but there is a photo database at FCBS Bromeliad Photo Index Database: - Main Menu. I only got to page 20 out of 136 pages just for Tillandsia - you can take over from here. Let us know what you find. :) I think Tillandsia is a possibility for one of your other postings too.
