Hi there;this is a first for me. Can elm trees be propagated by taking cuttings rather than budding? What are the best ways to propagate elm trees of a certain cultivar? Regarding grafting: The Brandon elm is rated as 'Hardiness Zone 2'; what kind of rootstock could I use for chip budding? I've researched into the potential for using Siberian elm but it is only rated to 'HZ4-5'.
