I have been confused by these two for a long time. I think one or both are Centropogon species. Looking at the structures of the plants it seems clear that they are two different species and not a color variation. I would love to nail down the identification of the two. Both are growing on the eastern slope of the Western Cordillera near Cali, Colombia.
