Hello -

The Arrowhead Conservation Society is asking for proposals for a horticulturalist/botanist to look at the plants at this abandoned townsite across from the Shelter Bay ferry, south of Revelstoke. See attached. We are seeking conservation status for the townsite and are conducting assessments in support of this. The townsite has been abandoned for about 45 years, and there are huge rose bushes and non-native trees that are rampant.

As there are a limited number of horticulturalists who take on contracts like this, I ask for your assistance in forwarding this Request for Proposals to anyone who might be interested.

Fixed price of $4000.00; proposals due July 7; details in the attachment.
