I am lost in the world of botanical names... and pictures. My job today is to find some names to inspire the new collection ... MIND/ Bright, Soul/ metallics, Body/ neutrals. I love plants and flowers. I am a simple one who only admires. Is there anyone out there who can give me some well known and maybe romantic names of plants? I would be most appreciative.
Hey beachgirl, I am not sure if I understand your post. Are you looking for poetic common names of plants and/or names with an emotional connotation, like love-in-the-mist (Nigella) or love-lies-bleeding (Amaranthus)? Those are the first two that come to mind.
botanical names thank you for your reply. I've settled with cypress, oak, pine, flame?, magnolia etc. I guess I found my way. thanks for your suggestion... but I have now moved on to tree names.
