    Hello,

I am thinking about buying this book

    Hardcover ISBN: 9780124166776

    Seeds
    2nd Edition
Ecology, Biogeography, and, Evolution of Dormancy and Germination
    Authors: Carol Baskin Jerry Baskin

Or could anybody recommend anything else going deep into seed biology, dormancy combined with studies of different germination techniques?

I am confused, i was thinking about buying it some months ago already but costs ahve been above 200€, and just now i realized it's price has dropped to below half of that for a completely new and unused one.

Does anybody know, will there maybe be a 3nd version available soon?

Does anybody have this 2nd Edition?

    thx
    Steffen

It looks good as a teaching resource for our horticulture program.

I wonder if Norman C. Deno's "Seed Germination Theory and Practice" would be useful to you. Apparently it and the supplements can be downloaded free.

    Good morning,

just wanted to give some feedback. i have received it on friday last week.
Actually i absolutely like it. It is not only some highly scientific talk but well balanced with studies about germination of countless species which could easily be adopted to one's own growings. In depth but easy to connect to. I like it and use it.

    regards
    Steffen
