Identification: Bolete

    A bolete of some sort. Found much lower in altitude, about 8500 ft, than I find B. edulis.
    The sponge is brighter yellow than the indoor photos show. The cap surface is medium brown and felt-like. The photo of the slice was taken just seconds after slicing. A few minutes after slicing, no change (no blue).

    The indoor photographs are of the smaller mushroom on the left in the outdoor photo.

    Have I really stumped the panel of experts, or did this just get lost in the mix?
