The following was received via email:

I recently went to Spain and saw a fantastic wall growing shrub.

The Spanish called it Boganvilla - I have not been able to translate this or find it real name.

    Any ideas?

    Many Thanks

I believe the vine you saw is Bougainvillea. It is a vine with brightly coloured bracts that is often grown in tropical and subtropical areas.
