I have a laburnum tree in my garden and I have often wondered why laburnums don't come in other colours. They are, for example in the same family as wisteria which comes in lots of different colours. I have already done some research on this subject but all I have concluded is that the colour of laburnum flowers vary from greenish-yellow to yellowish-orange.
