Hello, I have had a few different answers on this one and I thought I'd double check with some of you experts. I believe that the plant on the left is a Blue Hosta. Can anyone confirm this for me please?

It's definitely a hosta, and one that would be called blue. Which one, I don't know, but there are many named hostas with blue in the name.

    I would agree with thanrose.
I have noticed that on the leaves of our Hosta's that I would class as "blue" there is a bloom on the leaves, like you get on plums and black grapes.
If you touch or wipe the leaf, this bloom is removed. leaving the leaf looking a different colour underneath.
